Terms & Conditions

The fine print, in plain English.

Last updated: 6 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the YTS PaintPro website (ytspaintpro.com.au) and any quotes, proposals and painting services we provide. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Website Terms of Use

The content on this website is provided for general information only. While we take care to keep the site accurate and up to date, we make no warranty that the information is complete, error-free or current. You use this website at your own risk.

All text, images, logos and design elements on this site are the property of YTS PaintPro or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without our written consent.

We may update or discontinue any part of this website at any time without notice.

2. Quote Disclaimer

Quotes provided through this website or in response to enquiries are estimates only and are not binding until:

  • we have completed an onsite consultation and inspection of the property;
  • a written, itemised quote has been issued by YTS PaintPro; and
  • you have accepted that written quote in writing (email is fine).

Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices may change if the scope of work, access, substrate condition or timing changes materially after the quote is issued.

Photos and information submitted via our website help us prepare an initial estimate only. Final pricing is confirmed after onsite inspection.

3. Workmanship Warranty

YTS PaintPro provides a written workmanship warranty on painting services we perform:

  • Five (5) years workmanship warranty on new, previously unpainted or fully re-prepared surfaces;
  • One (1) year workmanship warranty on previously painted or partially prepared surfaces.

The warranty covers workmanship defects such as peeling, flaking or blistering that are directly attributable to our application. The warranty does not cover:

  • fair wear and tear, fading or chalking caused by UV exposure or age;
  • failure of the underlying substrate (e.g. rotten timber, rising damp, structural movement, rust bleed);
  • damage caused by third parties, accidents, high-pressure cleaning or unusual environmental events;
  • surfaces or products supplied or specified by the client against our recommendation;
  • areas that were, at the client's request, painted without the preparation we recommended.

Paint product warranties (for coverage, colour retention, etc.) are provided by the paint manufacturer and are separate from our workmanship warranty. To make a warranty claim, contact us at info@ytspaintpro.com.au.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

4. Payments & Cancellation

Payment terms are set out in each written quote. Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit may be required to secure your booking, with the balance payable on completion of works or by progress claims for larger projects.

If you cancel a booked project, any deposit may be used to offset costs already incurred (materials ordered, scheduling, preparation). We will always deal with cancellations fairly and transparently.

5. Site Access & Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • provide safe and reasonable access to the work areas during agreed hours;
  • move or protect valuables, artworks and delicate items where practicable;
  • advise us of any known hazards (asbestos, lead paint, wildlife, structural issues);
  • make decisions on colours and finishes within the agreed timeline.

We will treat your home with care, protect surrounding surfaces and leave the site clean at the end of each day.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YTS PaintPro's total liability arising out of or in connection with the services or this website is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the affected services or refunding the amount paid for those services.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of use, or loss of opportunity, however arising.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any applicable state legislation.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Queensland, or by the QBCC where applicable.
